Popular TikTok creator Terryon Thomas, known as Mr Prada, has been arrested on suspicion of several charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The arrest happened after Thomas allegedly refused to comply with officers during a traffic stop in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen. Thomas backed into the officers’ car and fled, leading to his arrest in Dallas and pending extradition back to Baton Rouge.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook about a similar incident involving a stolen vehicle, linking the person of interest in their post to Thomas. This post came after therapist William Nicholas Abraham’s body was found wrapped in a tarp on a highway, with law enforcement investigating his death as a homicide without naming a suspect.
Social media rumors falsely accused Thomas of being involved in Abraham’s death, leading to widespread speculation and misinformation about the case. Thomas, who gained fame on TikTok for his comedic videos, has faced backlash for allegedly copying content from other creators.
Baton Rouge police and representatives for Thomas have not yet commented on the situation.
