Three people tragically died in a boat crash on Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama during a fishing tournament. The incident occurred when a Nitro Bass Boat collided with a Center Console boat. The crash took place on the second day of the Tackle Warehouse Invitational hosted by Major League Fishing.
The victims were identified as Joey M. Broom, John K. Clark, and Jeffrey C. Little. Broom died from injuries sustained in the crash, while Clark and Little were thrown overboard and drowned. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is actively investigating the incident.
