Ohio Dominican Panthers softball team faced challenging doubleheaders against Hillsdale Chargers and Northwood Timberwolves in Michigan. They split the series with Hillsdale, losing the first game 4-1 and winning the second 6-3, while being swept by Northwood with scores of 2-1 and 3-1, respectively.

In the first game against Hillsdale, Marlee Jacobs pitched, allowing four runs. In the second game, Emma Grau secured a win, allowing three runs. The team showed improvement at the plate, scoring six runs in the second game to split the series.

Moving on to the Northwood doubleheader, Jacobs and Grau pitched in the two games, but the Panthers were unable to secure a win, losing 2-1 and 3-1. Despite the losses, the team put up a strong fight with Golden and Sterling contributing on offense.

Looking ahead, the Panthers will conclude their season at home with doubleheaders against Ursuline and Lake Erie at Panther Field. Senior Day celebrations will honor five graduating players, and the team aims to close out the season on a positive note.

Overall, the Panthers faced tough competition on the road but showed resilience throughout the series. With the regular season coming to an end, they will look to finish strong in front of their home fans and carry that momentum into the postseason.
