MLive Launches Search for Michigan’s Top Boys Lacrosse Player
Michigan’s sports enthusiasts can now participate in an exciting new project by MLive aimed at identifying the top boys lacrosse player in the state during the spring season. Following a previous call for fan input regarding the best high school spring sports athletes by region, MLive is expanding its efforts to highlight standout players.
The initiative features a list of 40 promising candidates, encompassing various schools across Michigan. Voting is open until 9 a.m. on Monday, May 19, allowing fans to support their favorite players as many times as they wish. The candidates include athletes from schools such as Howell, Detroit Country Day, and Bay City Central, among others.
The nomination process is also active for fans who may want to suggest other outstanding players. Interested individuals can submit player names, school affiliations, and relevant statistics via email to MLive by Wednesday, May 14, with the subject line "Spring Sports Stars."
Prominent players on the list include Cody Baker and Caleb Becker from Howell, Luke Bergkoetter of Jackson United, and Joe Norton from Detroit Country Day. Each candidate has demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication to the sport, making them deserving of recognition.
